is a longtime resident of the Orleans area and as a sole practioner can

As part of our family dental care for all ages, our services can include:

Our Staff
Dr. McKeown
Dr. McKeown has practiced family dentistry in the Ottawa area since 1983. The Orleans practice opened in 1995.
Dr
McKeown graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry,
and also holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Waterloo.
She particularly enjoys family and preventative dentistry and takes
part in frequent professional development activities.
As the
only dentist in the office Dr. McKeown can provide you and your family
with the consistent, personalized, dental care that ensures your dental
needs are met. She is assisted by a team of 2 hygienists, 2 assistants
and a receptionist.
When away from her office, she is very
active in her local community. She was a six year Executive member and
former President of the Blackburn Hamlet Preschool, and has been a
longtime executive committee member in local minor hockey.
Married
with four boys, she and her husband Toni have spent a lot of their free
time with their children: at soccer, cross country skiing, or at the
hockey rink.
Our full-time staff are certified and fully trained
to meet your dental needs. Our dental team attends many continuing
education courses to keep their dental skills and certification current.
Financial Policies
We
feel that good dental care should be available and affordable to
everyone. We will always discuss any fees with you before proceeding
with any dental treatment.
We follow the current Ontario Dental
Association fee guide and for your convenience we accept cash, VISA,
Mastercard, Interac, and personal cheques at the time of the service.
We have electronic insurance claim filing to ensure your speedy
reimbursement from your insurance company.
If you have any
questions regarding insurance please ask, we are here to help. We are
pleased to make sure you receive the maximum benefit you are entitled
to.
Our front desk staff will be happy to discuss all financial and insurance items with you.
Office Safety
Infection
control is an important part of any health care practice. For the
safety of our patients and our staff we adhere to the rigorous
infection control standards as mandated by the profession.
All
instruments and handpieces are sterilized by our special equipment, for
every patient. If you have any questions at all regarding our infection
control policies, please ask one of our team members who will be happy
to answer your questions.
